BBQ Sauce is not something that I make often. Stubbs original BBQ sauce is just so perfect that I don’t even aspire to try to improve upon it. The problem with Stubbs is that I never use a whole bottle. It does last for a very long time in the fridge, but even that give me pause. What’s in it that gives it that staying power? If I’m making ribs or barbecued chicken for a crowd, where I continue basting throughout the cooking process, and then serve some sauce on the side, I’ll opt for Stubbs, because I’m reasonably confident that I’ll use the whole bottle. Otherwise, I just mix up a small batch of this BBQ Sauce. It’s more than just good enough!

  • 1 t chili Powder
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • t cayenne powder
  • 1 T cornstarch
  • 1 T water
