Taco Seasoning from scratch. What’s not to love? Actually, it only takes a few minutes to mix up a batch, and it helps you to use those spices in your cabinet that might otherwise turn into sawdust. It’s totally customizable, and it doesn’t include any preservatives or other additives that probably adulterate the taco seasoning that you buy in a packet or an envelope at the grocery store. I know that your time is precious, but really – your tacos, and casseroles, and chilis should be precious too. You deserve this. Just do it.
Taco Seasoning
Ingredients
- 2 T cornstarch
- 1 T ground cumin
- 1 T cayenne pepper
- 1 T chili powder
- 1 t salt
- 1 t white pepper
- ½ t garlic powder
- ½ t paprika
- ¼ t crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Prepare – Blend well. Use 2 T per pound of meat.
- Store – Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
